Founded in 2024, Tidy Nest Professional Organizing officially celebrated its opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Greater Severna Park and Arnold Chamber of Commerce. The event marked the launch of a women-owned, veteran-owned business committed to serving homeowners and families throughout Anne Arundel County and surrounding Maryland communities.

Kelly Baldwin is the Co-Owner and Chief Tidier of Tidy Nest Professional Organizing. As a Certified Professional Organizer, former U.S. Navy Nurse, and IAOAPCC Certified Professional Organizer, she brings decades of leadership, organization, and problem-solving experience to every project.
Kelly is passionate about helping clients create practical organizing systems that improve daily routines, reduce unnecessary stress, and give people greater confidence and control within their homes and businesses.

Originally from a small town in Pennsylvania, I graduated from Penn State University before serving more than 20 years as a commissioned U.S. Navy Nurse. Throughout my military career, organization, efficiency, and adaptability weren't just valuable skills; they were essential for caring for patients, supporting families, and leading teams.
I'm also a proud mom of four amazing children, my greatest accomplishment by far. Between military relocations, our family moved 16 times and lived in everything from condos and single-family homes to a boat in Hawaii. Those frequent moves taught me how to quickly create functional, organized homes regardless of the space or circumstances.
Organized spaces bring me joy. They allow me to exhale, knowing every item has a home and every room has purpose. It’s a privilege to help others experience that same sense of calm and control by creating personalized systems that actually work in real life. My goal is for you to feel empowered and free to focus on the things you love most.
Today, I use those experiences to help clients navigate life's biggest transitions, whether that's organizing a family home, supporting a senior through downsizing, unpacking after a move, or designing customized systems that make everyday life easier. I believe every item should have a purpose and every space should support the people who live in it.
When I'm not organizing, you'll probably find me visiting my kids, navigating school drop-offs, enjoying donuts, or watching true crime documentaries, sometimes all in the same day.
Ashley Johnson, Co-Owner & Chief Project Director

Ashley Johnson is the Co-Owner and Chief Project Director of Tidy Nest Professional Organizing. As a Certified Professional Organizer and member of the American Society of Professional Organizers (ASPO), she oversees project planning, client experience, and organizing systems that are customized for each home and business.
Ashley believes every organizing solution should be practical, sustainable, and designed around how people actually live, creating spaces that are easier to use and maintain over time.

It's safe to say my interest in organizing began at a very young age, from arranging my sock drawer by color to putting my cassette tapes (later followed by CDs) in alphabetical order. My favorite seasonal job in college was organizing clothing for department store displays, and I still love the feeling of transforming a space into one that works better than before. Helping clients create calm, organized surroundings has become my life's work.
After college, I spent several years in advertising and account management, where I developed strong client service, communication, creative problem-solving, and project management skills. Those experiences continue to shape how I guide every organizing project, from the initial consultation through the final walkthrough.
In 2015, I moved six times in as many years, combining households and learning firsthand how quickly life transitions can create clutter and overwhelm. Those experiences inspired what would eventually become my career in professional organizing and helping others navigate similar challenges.
Today, I combine my background in project management and professional organizing to help clients with home organization, decluttering, household management, downsizing, move management, and customized organizing systems. My goal is to create practical solutions that reduce stress, save time, and make homes easier to maintain long after we're gone.
Outside of organizing, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, skiing, boating, discovering new restaurants, and getting lost in a great thriller novel.
